TRAM DECISION SOON?

John Hepple MP continues to lobby the Transport Secretary for a decision on Phase II as soon as possible. A decision next month?

TRAM DECISION NOT BY HOON?

There is speculation that Geoff Hoon wil not make the decision on Phase II, since he is MP for Ashfield, close to Nottingham (Hucknall, on Line One, is in his constituency). Instead, Paul Clark, his Junior Minister may deliberate.

GOVERNMENT SAYS YES TO PHASE II!

The Transport Secretary has approved Phase II! There are strings, however. The WPL is a separate matter, and a decision is expected on this soon.click here for more information.
